Hi all experts,

I'm using PC-DR for Dos version (Service Center 7) and works well.
But it's strange that it spent lost of time in memory test (over than 1hrs)
(Especially in "Code Test" of extended memory. Even with 1GB memory installed)
I'm not sure what's the difference between pattern tests and code test.

 Thanks!

uniccus,

This is unusual, especially with only 1GB.  It may be that v7.0 is having difficulty with the memory mapping.

What type of system is this?  I can look and see if it is a known issue.

You may also want to look into upgrading to Version 7.5.  There were changes in the memory tests to solve issues such as this.

Fred,

Thank you for your useful information! There are my testing environments as below:
  1) Platform: AMD Barzos series within UEFI BIOS.
  2) PC-DR: DR-DOS 7.03, SERVICE CENTER 7, version:4.0.1723.14

Actually around 50% that it'll change extended memory testing Range and getting slowly. Is the Syndrome familiar with the known issue?

  Thanks :-)

uniccus,

Yes this is a newer AMD CPU usually used in laptops which present their own issues, netbooks even more so. Service Center 7.5 should fix you up however I don't have one of those systems in the Lab to confirm.

Please go to http://www.pcdservicecenter.com/support.php  and fill out a tech support form, that will generate a ticket and we will resolve this.

You should also give sales a call about an upgrade to 7.5, the number is 775-336-4000.
