Title: Is this email a phishing attempt
Post by: OzBoz on July 26, 2019, 05:05:27 am
Just received this email and suspect it's a phishing attempt as the URLs indicated when mouse over the links look nothing like PC Doctor.

"PC-Doctor is updating the licensing software for your PC-Doctor Toolbox product. As such, we have issued the following new license key(s) that will be required for your Toolbox product to continue to work:

    License key redacted by me

We will deactivate access to the prior license software on September 27, 2019. After that date, you will not be able to run Toolbox without activating the new key(s)."

Is this for real or just a scam?

This is real, we are moving to a new licensing system and those using the old system were provided new keys to reactivate the software.
