Hello,

To begin, the Funnel Seek Test is pertaining to the results of the hard drive functionality. The test will move the drive heads in a funnel fashion. For example, from the first track on the disc to the last and back again. The reading is similar to the reading of a CD by moving to each sector and verifying that it can get access to it.

A warning for this test does not mean that the hard drive is bad but it can be an indication that the hard drive could slowly be going out. I would recommend backing up your data and running an extended hard drive test to verify no other issue is present. It would be best to rerun this test outside of the Operating System if possible because warnings can be produced from any interference inside the OS.

Hope this helps,
Meliton P.
