A chkdsk /f may remap the bad sectors and give the drive some extra time.
I would use that time to get the data off and then replace it. The issues is the SMART tests is failing, the drives internal diagnostics, as well as linear verify. This usually indicates the drive is going downhill fast. Once the oxide coating on the platters gets scraped off and starts floating around inside the drive the odds of them getting between the platter and read write head increase. It will keep damaging new areas on the platter, creating more particles and destroying the data residing there.
