RANDOM SEEK TEST ERROR
WHAT DOES A RANDOM SEEK TEST ERROR IN RESPECT OF HD 535-5W MEAN  IN RELATION TO USB2.0-CRW HARD DRIVE

It means the drive does not perform random seeks to the specifications that direct attached PATA or SATA drive should. 

This is not suprising as USB attached drives are very slow in comparison.  If all orher tests pass the drive is good.
