Title: Booting from Diag CD
Post by: Jakphrost on July 03, 2014, 06:05:38 am
When I boot from the Diag CD there is a prompt asking me to insert the USB to verify subscription. This is fine but is it safe to remove the USB key after it is verified or do I have to leave both medias in the computer.

Thanks!

Tom

Please correct me if I am wrong, but from your description I assume that you are running Service Center. If so, then you must connect the multipurpose USB device to the system while you are running diagnostics, if you remove the key the system will fail authentication and stop testing.

I hope this has answered your question, but please let me know if you require any additional information.

Thanks,
Kris
