Title: CMOS Ram Test Failed
Post by: Blecher on December 20, 2011, 10:07:02 am
I have a question regarding a Compaq SR2030NX desktop computer. The computer while trying to boot to Windows will get a blue screen and reboot. It is very quick so I can't see what the blue screen says.

I am Running SC 7.9 and getting a CMOS Ram failure. I have replaced the battery and the test is still the same. It is keeping everything as far as date and time in the BIOS just fine. Any idea's would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Brad

Hello Brad,

I can only assist you with issue specific to our products, Service 7.9 in this instance, so if you can you provide a test log from that test run?  This will give us more specifics such as the test run events.  If you don't have a test log let us know if you were running from DOS or Windows.  Also please let us know the make/model of system or motherboard to provide more clarity.  Once the requested information is received I Can pass it on to our engineers for review.
