We have 6 serial ports in our system.  The system info tab sees all 6 of these and assigns them the proper COM designators.  When we go to the diagnostic page, the test only sees 2 of the COM ports.  How do we test the other COM ports?  The other 4 COM ports seen in the system info page but not he diagnostic page are PCI Serial Ports on the PCI bus (Oxford Chip).  These ports do work.  PC Doctor does appear to see the parallel ports on this device.

Also, is there any way to setup a test so it tests what should be there (ie all 6 ports) and not just what it sees?  If we have 6 serial ports and run the diagnostics, it says it passes, but it really shouldn't.

Thank you for reporting the issues you are seeing with our diagnostics not recognizing and testing the additional serial ports.  Our Service Center product is created with the intent to fit a wide range of needs. However, although we strive to cover as many products as possible, not all products/components may be covered.  In particular, to "add on" PCI Serial/Parallel Port cards, it is very difficult to cover the wide range of these devices. We strive to meet all of our customers' needs and while we have worked fixes for these issues for our contract customers, they receive customized builds that correspond directly to their hardware.
As we look at the next set of improvements and features for the next release of Service Center, this modification sounds like it would be something we should strongly consider.
