While PC-Doctor Toolbox for Windows is an outstanding tool for individual users, it is not designed to be used in a commercial environment. Many of the available tests may be the same, but Toolbox doesn't have the following features of Service Center:
  • License Restrictions – Toolbox allows for a single use on a single computer via a product key and must be connected to the internet while Service Center locks to a unique Multipurpose USB Key which can be used on as many systems as needed.
  • Bootable Hardware Testing – Toolbox is only available for testing in Windows while Service Center can be used in multiple operating systems.
  • Generate Reports - Toolbox can show or save the results of a test while Service Center can create customized reports showing test results, system information, and more.
  • Test Scripts - Toolbox has three optimized pre-defined system tests as well as the ability to test individual devices while Service Center has pre-defined scripts as well as the ability to create custom scripts and test individual devices.
  • Hardware Components for Testing - Toolbox ships as a standalone downloadable application while Service Center ships as a kit package including hardware testing tools such as a PCI POST Cards, Test Media, and loopback adapters.

On the other hand, I do know that it is possible to purchase multiple licenses if your intention is to install PC-Doctor Toolbox on systems to be sold. This does provide a great tool for supporting systems once they have left your location.
