Title: Macbook pro diagnostic
Post by: riztech on May 31, 2018, 11:30:25 am
Hello,
Trying to figure out why I'm able to use pc dr. diagnostic on some macbooks and not others?
Some will boot to - PC Doctor Center Bootable Diagnostics [11.0.6849.448] then goes to black screen.

Hi riztech,

The issue is likely related to either the resolution of the screen, or perhaps the video driver that the MacBook is using. There is a chance that those two factors are causing incompatibilities.

With that said, upon booting into the Service Center USB key, at the boot menu choose to boot PC Doctor Center Bootable Diagnostics [11.0.6849.448] - Video Fallback.

The Video Fallback option is provided for exactly these situations.

Hope this helps,
Dan R.
