Title: Testing multi core processor?
Post by: bogdanb on August 12, 2008, 05:49:12 pm
Hi,

We have a PC with quad core CPU. The tests show testing CPU 1. Is this testing all cores in DOS? Or only one core? What about the Windows version?

Thank you

bogdanb,

The columns CPU 1, CPU 2, CPU 3 and CPU 4 you see are Individual APICs.  A quad core CPU should have all 4 columns available, each corresponding to a core.

In a dual quad core system, one with 8 CPUs the last column will represent CPUs 4-8

What type of system is this?
