If you find that you are having troubles with your installed copy of Dell Support Center/My Dell. The preferred method to remove the software is to uninstall via the Control Panel or Add/Remove Programs, but the following steps are provided for special cases.

In order to manually remove the Dell Support Center/My Dell software:

    Hit the Windows and R keys at the same time.
    Type: CMD
    Press ENTER (a command window should appear)
    Type: msiexec /x {0090A87C-3E0E-43D4-AA71-A71B06563A4A}
    Press ENTER
    If a message is displayed stating that this command is only valid for installed products, then perform the next steps.

    Type: msiexec /x {F7A70D00-F283-45c8-B163-49EC365D7E27}
    Press ENTER

Once the Uninstall has completed or if an error occurs preventing the uninstall from completing, you can ensure a full cleanup by performing the following steps:

[XP ONLY]

    Hit the Windows key (only)
    Type %ALLUSERSPROFILE%
    Press ENTER
    Open the Application Data folder
    Delete the PCDr folder
    Go back to the folder that contained Application Data
    Open the Start Menu folder
    Open the Programs folder
    Delete the Dell Support Center or My Dell folder
    (On some systems this can be found under the Dell folder)

[Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8]

    Hit the Windows key (only)
    Type %PROGRAMDATA%
    Press ENTER
    Delete the PCDr folder
    Open the Microsoft folder
    Open the Windows folder
    Open the Start Menu folder
    Open the Programs folder
    Delete the Dell Support Center or My Dell folder
    (On some systems this can be found under the Dell folder)

[ALL]

    Hit the Windows key (only)
    Type %APPDATA%
    Press ENTER
    Delete the PCDr folder

    Hit the Windows key (only)
    Type %PROGRAMFILES%
    Press ENTER
    Delete the Dell Support Center or My Dell folder, if it exists

    Hit the Windows key (only)
    Type %TEMP%
    Press ENTER
    Delete the contents of this folder.  (Note: Some files may be in use, but you can simply skip these.)

    Hit the Windows and R keys at the same time.
    Type CMD
    Press ENTER
    Type (or copy/paste) each of the following lines and press ENTER to run each one (Note: you may receive an error when running these commands if the uninstaller was already able to remove them):
        reg delete HKLM\SOFTWARE\PC-Doctor /f
        reg delete HKCU\SOFTWARE\PC-Doctor /f
        reg delete HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Products\C78A0900E0E34D34AA177AB16065A3A4 /f
        reg delete HKCR\Installer\Products\C78A0900E0E34D34AA177AB16065A3A4 /f
        schtasks /delete /tn PCDoctorBackgroundMonitorTask /f
        schtasks /delete /tn SystemToolsDailyTest /f
        schtasks /delete /tn PCDEventLauncher /f

Finally, if the uninstall in the first step above failed,you should now open the Control Panel.

[XP ONLY]

    Open Add/Remove programs
    Select Dell Support Center or My Dell from the list
    Click the Uninstall button
    You should be presented with the option to remove this item from the list since it is no longer installed.

[Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8]

    Open Program and Features
    Select Dell Support Center or My Dell from the list
    Click the Uninstall button
    You should be presented with the option to remove this item from the list since it is no longer installed.
