In general an OEM system recovery will return your system to the state it was when it was shipped. Your data will be lost.
You should always backup or have your data backed up before doing this. This can be accomplished by putting the drive in another system and backing the data up, then reinstalling the drive in the old system, performing the system recovery and then reloading the data.
