I got these two failures while running PC-Doctor 8 bootable usb on an HP 15-ay078nr.
From the few things I have found, I understand that DMA Channel failure could mostly be ignored.
Do this errors in conjunction point to problems with the motherboard?

Hello,

Yes, that is correct, the DMA Channel failure has been known to cause some false positives in the past and this can also be because of certain settings being enabled in the BIOS.

The RAM Refresh test is also apart of the system board tests but it can be more of an issue with the memory. The test will verify that the Ram is refreshing at its normal rate, I would recommend running a memory test to verify no issues are occurring with the system memory itself.

Both tests are categorized as a motherboard test, however if no other issues are occurring these tests shouldn't point to a major issue with the motherboard.

Please let me know if you have any other questions
