Ive just tested a Packard Bell Desktop and it shows on my PC-Doctor Post card 000 00
its a phoenix Bios what does this mean please.

Mr Anderson,

It depends, if that's all it ever says i.e. you do not see POST codes flash by during the POST process then you will have to change the DIP switches on the unit to allow POST codes to be displayed.  It could also be an indication that the system does not even begin to POST.

If you do see POST codes change during initial POST. then 00 usually indicates it is through with it's POST process and has turned over controll to the boot loader.

Please go to http://www.bioscentral.com and look up your particular MB to find POST code definitions.
