:(I upgraded Windows Vista SP2 to Windows 7.  I now keep getting a message box stating PC Doctor is incompatible with this version of Windows.  Is this an error or is this true?  Should I delete PC Doctor?

lepayton,

You should upgrade to the windows 7 compatible version.  Your OEM should have a link to this on their site.  If you can't find it let me know what the make and model of your system is and I will point you in the right direction.

I do get an automatic link from time to time telling me that this version is incompatible and to click her to download the correct link.  I've done that three or four times and I still get the incompatible message.

lepayton,

Please go to the OEM site directly for your make and model and download it from there.  There appears to be something stopping the upgrade.  The new Windows 7 version will uninstall the old version and install the new keeping your history files.

If you can't find it on the OEM site let me know the make and model of your system and I will provide it to you.

I have a HP a6300f Pavilion.  HP told me it would not install because I had used the retail version of the Windows 7 upgrade.  Doesn't sound right to me because HP sells Windows 7 upgrades.  What do I know?  Not much.

lepayton,

It should work fine as long as you haven't changed your Motherboard.  Try this link:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/genericSoftwareDownloadIndex?cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&softwareitem=pv-75045-2&jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN

Install it as administrator.  It is 96MB, choose to uninstall the old version and install the new.  This should fix you up.

Thank you very much.  I used the link and downloaded the fix.  Works like a charm.  I don't understand why HP told me I couldn't do it.

lepayton,

I don't know either, at least it's working now.  Thanks for letting us know.
