Hi All,

I was asked what the tolerance was on the Power Supply tester included in Service Center 6 and 7 is.  Looking on packaging and documentation sure enough it was omitted.  Embarrassed

The Power Supply tester is a + or - 10% unit.  If a pin or over 10% or under 10% of the specified voltage the alarm on the tester will sound continuously indicating the power supply is failing.

Can someone help!??

I recently purchased PC-Doctor Service Center 7.5 and i wanted to troubleshoot the PSU with the power supply tester included in the kit. I unplugged the power supply from the motherboard and connected to the tester and the only led light that lights up is the +5VSB and it lights up solid Green. The documentation states that all the lights should be lit green and i should hear a beep sound that indicates all is well. I tried the same on 3 other power supply units and i get the solid green on +5VSB. Can someone lend a helping hand it would be sincerely appreciated.
Thanks

jmague20,

I also answered this in your other post. It sounds like you have a defective unit.  Please call 866-289-7237, get an RMA number and we'll send you a new one.
