All the talk about Commodores, Amigas, and Play Stations, reminded me of my first computer:

TRS-80 aka "Trash 80" i got mine from Radio Shack!

Reminisce with us and share your experiences and/or technologies of old!
If you remember, list the specs as well!

I've owned:
Commodore 64 "The 64" with Tape Drive and Floppy disk

Commodore 128 Sigh, my parents spent alot of money on this, and the only software that was truly 128, was the word processor that it came with. But at least it was backwards compatible. (hmmm... or was it? I don't remember anymore... HA!)

IBM Clone 386  w/5 1/2" Floppy.

IBM Clone 486 w/5 1/2" and 3 1/4" floppy drives.

IBM Clone pentium II or II with 3 1/4" drive, Zip Drive, and EDO RAM

Ahh I can't even remember them all!

During the 80's I had a system called the Adam. It used cassette tapes as the only storage, and a black-and-white TV as a display. I used it for several years for word processing and it worked great It came complete with a daisy-wheel printer that was slow, but produced typewriter-quality output using a typewriter ribbon. No ink to buy!. I don't remember what it cost, but it was cheap!

I had an Adam too!  Mine had dual cassette drives and a Cartridge drive for Coleco Vision game cartridges.  We used ours on a color tv though.  When we got that machine (early 90s) it was already obsolete.
