The 44th Annual Reno National Championship Air Races and Air Show will be here (Stead - North Valleys) September 12-16. This is always a great show!

If you're into good food, primarily ribs, then the Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook-off is August 29 - September 3 in Victorian Square, downtown Sparks. Take an empty stomach and lots of cash for this one. Wink

Make-A-Wish Duck Races back for another year Aug. 26

There will be prizes given out to the owners of the first 10 ducks to cross the finish line.

I couldn't find a link for it, but there is a Motocross event Aug 10 and 11th in Fallon
