When booting from USB drive the system displays the following message and then halts.

“Starting Caldera DR-DOS
HIMEM.SYS 2.34
Virtual Disk Drive D: (512 Bytes, 128 Entries )”

How can we fix this? We have to be able to boot from the USB drive.

Thanks

bogdanb,

It sounds like you may have a memory problem,  Please try switching positions on the DIMMs if there is more than on or putting different memory in the system.

The reason I say this is it seems to lock up creating the ram drive to load PC-Doctor into.  This is most often caused by bad ram.
