I've used the cd for just about 7 times in diagnosing a deffective pc.  But then, it suddently quit and became unreadable.  Please help!  Is there any option? Is there any way that i could just download the cd content of the PC DOCTOR DIAGNOSTIC CD? Preferrably economical option...tnx...

doc_mhelo,

Please make sure it’s the CD that's bad not the optical drive.  If the CD has become damaged we will send you a new one.

You can either call 1-866-289-7237  explain the situation and provide the support with shipping info or go to http://www.pc-doctor.com/technical_support.php?s=1 and fill out a support ticket.

You will need to send back the damaged distribution CD after you are all fixed up so don’t loose it.

Fred,

Yes, I'm sure it's the CD that's bad, because i've already tested it several times in different optical drives and pc.

I've already fill out a support ticket.

I wonder how much or will i be charged for sending me a new copy of the DIAGNOSTIC CD?

Thanks

Doc_mhelo,

Usually just shipping charges so it varies as to how quickly you want it sent.  There are exceptions but its way above my pay grade to make those decisions.  That is why I directed you to support, I don’t see any problems though

In the interim you can boot the DOS version from the MUD (Multipurpose USB Device) and run diagnostics.

If you are running Service Center 6 when you receive your replacement CD you can make a backup copy with a CD authoring program and store it as an ISO.  That way if this happens again you can burn another copy.  If you are using Service Center 5 you must have the distribution media.
