My computer shuts down every time I try to run PC Doc 5. This seems to happen within a minute of launching the program.  I have an IBM Thinkcentre P4/ 2.8 ghz with a 40G and 200G HDs. I'm running XP PRO with SP 2. Thank you in advance for any advice.

Brogers,

Please go to the Lenovo website and download the latest version for your system.  It sounds as if something is corrupted or missing.  A fresh install should fix you up.
