First off this is an ACER desktop about 2 years old. After running through the tests via booting from the pc-doctor disc, this particular computer passed all of the hardware scans but failed multiple I/O tests. About four in total. I suspect that the motherboard or more specifcally the chipset is the culprit for these failure's in the I/O tests. Would this be a fair diagnostic? Just curious before I inform the customer. Thanks much!!!

AdamBomb,

Are these disk I/O tests that are failing?  What specific tests are failing and what are the messages you receive?
